A letter from the debt collector was received on XX/XX/year> with the claim that me & my roommate owed {$13000.00} to the previous landlord. The response to this letter was sent in timely manner requesting the documents that could prove that we owed them money. No response was ever received from the debt collector and after it hit our credit, even tho we specifically asked them not to report to any credit agencies until its all sorted out. At this time, we still havent received any information from them but the interest keeps going up.
