I wasn't aware my minor son was using my card without my permission or knowledge making purchases online. I Myself only used the card inside the physical best buy store. Never had I used that card online not once. Let alone I didn't know it could be used to purchase anything outside of Best Buy. The last thing I did authorized was a cell phone that I purchased myself in the XXXX XXXX LA. best buy. I monitor my credit constantly and My credit never showed any purchases until I started getting calls about it's time to make a payment. I didn't get one notification that an abnormal purchase was being made from the Best Buy card. I'm shocked that best buy didn't pick up on that. And by the time the payment came due it was to late to return everything. When I made a complaint about what happened they started a investigation to what happened and found I was responsible for the payments. Even though the purchases were done with my card but the purchases and delivery where in my minor under age son name.
