On XX/XX/year> ( XXXX PM PT ), I purchased a mattress at Living Spaces XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Order XXXX ; associate XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX In the store, 0 % financing was presented and I was asked to enter information on an XXXX. Throughout the process, the associate repeatedly emphasize this is a " financing program '' and did not disclosed that the promotion required opening/using a Living Spaces Credit Card ( Synchrony ) at all. After the purchase, I discovered a new account and a hard inquiry on my credit report. I respectfully request CFPBs assistance to : ( 1 ) have Synchrony close the account ; ( 2 ) remove/recall the hard inquiry ( or provide a letter I can use with the bureaus ) ; and ( 3 ) confirm I owe no fees. I can provide my receipt/order, a sameday conversation recap or anything information that would be helpful, thank you. Since this happened today, I haven't received any notice or confirmation letter from Synchrony Bank yet about the credit card application.
