Complaint : Failure to Disclose XXXX XXXX XXXX Through XXXX XXXX Im filing a complaint regarding my XXXX student loans, originally serviced by XXXX and now MOHELA. I filed for XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, during which time I believed I was receiving full XXXX forbearance protections under the CARES Actincluding the 0 % interest rate. I only recently learned that my loans were commercially held XXXX loans, which were not eligible for the 0 % interest unless they were consolidated into a XXXX XXXX owned by the Department of Education. I was never informed of this option by XXXX, MOHELA, or any other party. I also was not told that there was a deadline of XX/XX/XXXX, to consolidate in order to become eligible. Because of this failure to communicate critical information, I missed the window to consolidate and lost out on years of interest relief that could have significantly impacted my financial situation. XXXX did not disqualify melack of information did. I am requesting an investigation into the communication practices of my servicers regarding XXXX loan consolidation during the XXXX relief period, and whether they met their duty to clearly inform borrowers of available options and deadlines.
