On or around XX/XX/XXXX, I made a payment in store ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX ) of {$1200.00} with check # XXXX. On or around XX/XX/XXXX, Macys initiated an unexplained payment reversal of {$1200.00} with regard to check # XXXX. On or around XX/XX/XXXX, I made a payment in store ( XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX ) of {$55.00} with check # XXXX. On or around XX/XX/XXXX, Macys initiated an unexplained payment reversal of {$55.00} with regard to check # XXXX. On or around XX/XX/XXXX, I made an ACH payment of {$1400.00} in reliance on the payment reversals and only after I confirmed with my bank check # XXXX and check # XXXX had not been cashed. Since I confirmed check # XXXX and check # XXXX were not redeemed and I made a payment on or around XX/XX/XXXX, I had no reason to suspect there were any issues with my Macys account. Nevertheless, while reconciling my checking account on XX/XX/XXXX, I discovered check # XXXX and check # XXXX cleared from my checking account on XX/XX/XXXX ; however, Macys did not credit me with the amounts at that time. As a result, Macys owes me a refund in the amount of {$1300.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke to customer service ( case number XXXX with respect to check # XXXX and case number XXXX with respect to check # XXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, I mailed Citibank and Macy 's copies of the cancelled checks, my checking account statement for XX/XX/XXXX, and all recent Macys credit card statements to expedite the resolution of this matter. I have not received a response.
