I have been making payments to my student loan provider, MOHELA. I am having issues of them crediting my account to show the payments. I have been making payments monthly through my bank 's XXXX XXXX. At times a check is sent, and other times it is an electronic transfer. If the payment is made by check, sometimes the check is cashed in a week, others it was several weeks. Each month, the time frame was not consitent. All but the XXXXXXXX XXXX ( and XXXX now ) payment was taken from my bank. In speaking with a representative on XX/XX/year>XXXX ( the first time I was able to reach anyone since having issues ), the company representative said their P.O. Box was closed for three weeks in XXXX so payments could have been sent back. I was informed by the representative that notification should have been sent out regarding this issue. I have elected to have electronic notification and never have recieved any correspondence to that fact. I never recieved a return check nor was I ever notified that their P.O. Box was closed and to resend the payment. So I have a payment check that is floating somewhere. Every correspondence I send to MOHELA, the response I get is that I am delinquent in my student loans. It goes no where from there. In speaking to the representative on XXXX, my account have had payments made to closed accounts, to wrong accounts, and now according to MOHELA, I am delinquent by three months. I have filed a complaint with the XXXX XXXX, even asked for this to be bumped to the Ombudsman, but I am not getting responses. I am making payments to MOHELA, and the payments are not being applied correctly or even taken out of my account. I could lose my job for this, I am maintain a security clearance. This is unnacceptable.
