On XX/XX/2024 XXXX unauthorized debit card withdrawals were made from my checking account in the state of XXXX, and I reside in XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX One for {$44.00}, and the second one for {$280.00}. I notified Citibank as soon as I found out about them, which was about XXXX days later. Initially, Citibank decided to honor my claim for the {$44.00} unauthorized withdrawal and make me eat the larger {$280.00} claim. Since I'm a Citi gold member, my representative at the bank got involved, and convinced the bank to honor the second claim as well, which they did. Now, I filling this complain because If I had not been a gold member and gotten the representative involved, Citibank would have made me eat the loss which is not fain because I reported the fraudulent withdrawals in a timely manner.
