Consumer Narrative
b'XXXX XXXX we have XXXX unresolved dispute claims. XXXX claim filed XXXX due to hotel billing our account after the reservation was cancelled in a timely manner. Initially our dispute was honored and confirmed via a letter from XXXX and then XXXX reversed their decision and reapplied the hotel charge XXXX to the acct. Even though we provided proof that the reservation was cancelled in a timely manner, yet XXXX honored the false response from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX NC. because XXXX stated we did arrived and checked into the hotel. We asked for proof we checked into the XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX as we were in the XXXX Room because my husband had a XXXX on the night the hotel indicated we checked in. Our request for proof was denied as XXXX stated it was too late to re-open the dispute. We are currently making minimum payments on this outstanding amount with the plan to close the acct once the disputed balance is paid in full.. XXXX complaint dated XXXX & still in limbo. Fraudulent charges for XXXX XXXX XXXX appeared on our acct on XXXX. We disputed the charges with XXXX and filed a police report. XXXX once again sent a letter stating they agreed with our dispute claim and the charges are being removed. Two days after receiving the letter confirming removal of these charges, a visit to the account online revealed XXXX had once again reapplied the fraudulent charges to the account without notifying us. We called again to discuss these fraudulent charges and was told we allowed a relative to use our card and they gave us the name of the party and her phone number. We do not know the person who resides in XXXX we live in XXXX, the purchases were made in XXXX,who used the card and we gave a verbal statement denying we do not know this person who charged the purchases to our account. The XXXX clerk indicated she would reopen the fraud claim and that we will still be responsible for the payments of same until this matter is resolved. This is absolutely ridiculous and it appears to XXXX does not protect the credit of their clients and continues to align itself without accurate cause or justification with the vendor during the fraud claims resolution process. I have documentation to support our dispute claims in both of these circumstances and desire to be refunded in both cases, so we can close the account as we no longer desire to be a client of XXXX.\XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
