I just recently paid off any past due balance on my student loans in XXXX after this whole mess with the government coming after borrowers. I couldnt even register for an account before the deadline because the website never works and because if you try and call, youre on hold for hours every time. I just got a new notification about some of my loans being reported for late payments. It says I am late for a payment from XXXX and/or XXXX of this year on these accounts. I just paid anything late off and the only balance now showing in my loans is not due until the XXXX of this month. So, nothing should be late. I went and paid this balance now just in case, but this is illegal. They reported late payments that I have already paid and reported payments that are not even due yet, so not late. This is ridiculous. They have already devastated my credit report and made it harder for me to pay other bills because they keep reporting more and demanding more money.
