I am filing a formal complaint against XXXX XXXX, the servicer of my XXXX XXXX. My account has been charged {$12.00} per month for credit protection, a service I never knowingly agreed to. The card was opened in XX/XX/XXXX, and the charge appears monthly on my statements, including the most recent billing cycle ( XX/XX/XXXX ). Over the last XXXX months, this totals at least {$130.00} in fees, not including interest. I have tried repeatedly to cancel the service, but : There is no option to cancel credit protection via their website or mobile app. Ive called their customer service line multiple times, but XXXX put on hold for over XXXX minutes each time and can not get through to a representative. My statement shows XXXX being charged 35.90 % APR, and Ive incurred additional interest from this unauthorized service ( over {$120.00} YTD interest as of XX/XX/XXXX, per statement ). The inability to cancel has forced me to pay for a service I do not want and did not authorize, while also accumulating finance charges because I carry a balance. I am requesting that : XXXX. The credit protection be immediately canceled. XXXX. I be fully refunded for all credit protection charges since opening the card. XXXX.
