Consumer Narrative
This my second complaint over the same issue, which is that I was incorrectly denied a assumption loan for a property that I own as the mortgage is under my wife 's name although I have been paying the mortgage from day XXXX. US Bank 's recent response is not factual and misleading by stating that I was not able to provide income tax returns for being self employed. I was self employed as a XXXX corporation under XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX thru XXXX and now I'm self employed as a XXXX as of XX/XX/XXXX. I provided tax returns and P & L for the previous XXXX years for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and I'm now a 1099, the business structure is the same and my income still comes from the same source its just under 1099 and not a XXXX XXXX, this I have explained to the processor ( XXXX XXXX ) numerous times. I closed down XXXX at the end of last year as I am separated from my wife but am doing business as XXXX 1099 which there is a contract in place with the company that I'm doing business since XXXX. Underwriting requested that I provide an updated contract with that company, which I provided which states the services I provide and the amount of income. The contract is the same that I've had since I started XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX holdings although I was requested to get an updated contract. I own this property and have been paying the mortgage for the past XXXX years and all I'm asking is for them to remove my wife from the mortgage and add me as the borrower. She does not live here as we are separated and we had agreement that I get the house and she retained other assets. This is not very complicated and US Bank is creating the confusion internally for whatever reason and denying me for no factual reason. Based on everything that I have provided, I am starting to conclude that I am being discriminated against based on age or national origin.
