On XX/XX/year>, an unauthorized ACH debit was made from my Company 's ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Bank of America small business checking account by a company named XXXX XXXX for {$16000.00}. We immediately reported the fraud to Bank of America and submitted all required details ( Claim no. XXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX, Bank of America wrote to us stating : We have not received a response from the Originator after several attempts. Pending further reply, we ask that you work with the merchant XXXX XXXX to recover the funds. Despite this being an unauthorized transaction, I attempted to contact XXXX XXXX multiple times via phone and email, but received no response. On XX/XX/XXXX, I reopened the case with Bank of America, and it is currently still under review with no resolution as of today ( XX/XX/year> ). I believe Bank of America has a duty to protect its customers against unauthorized ACH debits and should not place the burden of fund recovery on me, especially when the merchant is unresponsive and the transaction was clearly unauthorized. Their lack of resolution is impacting my business. I am requesting a full reversal of the unauthorized debit and a final resolution of this matter.
