in XX/XX/year>, someone attempted to open a credit card under my name and SS #. Bank of America 's office in my town refused to do anything about the account as I had not opened it. I spent hours with their fraud department trying to first determine when/where the request had started, and to try to ensure it didnt happen. I requested that BoA not process any requests for credit cards, accounts, loans, or anything else from anyone using my name and SS #. BoA refused. I have never been, nor will i ever be a BoA user. TOday i was alerted by my bank that BoA had once again begun the process of opening an account under my name and SS #. I have started the process again to try to dispute the account, and facing the same run around as the last time. BoA doesnt want to help out or do anything to prevent it from occurring again.
