I received a prepaid gift card from my employer in XX/XX/year>XXXX I tried using that gift card recently to make a purchase and was told I was unable to use the card at the register Ive been called the phone number on the back of the card which is XXXX and was told that the car did have a balance of {$100.00} would have been marked as potential fraudulent. I was then told I needed to fax a copy of the front and back of the card and front and back of my government issued ID to their fax number at XXXX which I did I then followed up with this company calling the 800 number again of XXXX and was told they received the fax that I had sent at my own cost to the company, but was unable to verify and read the security features of my government issued ID on the fax and was told to enlarge the image and lighten the image by two shades when I sent the fax which I then did again on XXXX XXXX, and Ive been followed up two days later with the company through their 800 number and was told that they still were unable to read the image I then sent another attempt at a lighter shade faxed to the same number requested in the company again said they were unable to read security features on my government ID I see this is just a simple way to run a scam and not pay out the gift card that my employer purchased from their company and supposedly backed by US Bank. I then asked for a supervisor was able to give me a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for car hauler services in XXXX, FL XXXX as a ZIP Code and I mailed this on XXXX XXXX and today is now XXXX XXXX and they still have no update regarding the mailed item to them of a perfect color copy of my ID and the gift card.
