I was contacted by Ratchford Law Group , P.C . where they mentioned that they thought I owed {$1600.00} to them on XX/XX/year>, and the reference number is XXXX. I have included a copy of this notice in this compliant so that your office can have a better idea of what I am taking about. Something is fishy about this debt, and it is not mine. I have even called the credit reporting agencies such XXXX, XXXX and XXXX to double check that this debt was not on my credit reports. It turns out that this debt is not on my credit report. Can your office tell this company Ratchford Group, P.C. to stop all collection efforts against me since this debt is not mine. I have also tried to ask for my information by calling the number on the notice, but I was not able to get a hold of someone. I believe that these collection efforts are a violation of my consumer protection rights. I've also uploaded a copy of my U.S. Passport to try to verify my identity in case this debt is confused with someone that may have the same name.
