To Whom it May Concern, I am writing to inform you about the company " Mohela '' which services my federal student loans. In XX/XX/XXXX, my student loans were transitioned from Mohela to a new XXXX XXXX XXXX service platform. I was placed in a mandatory XXXX processing forbearance to make the transition happen where I could not make payments. Since then, my account has been in an involuntary forbearance in which I am unable to make payments. In XX/XX/XXXX, I applied to be moved to a different payment plan ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ). The company did not process my application at that time. I re-applied in XX/XX/XXXX and was approved for the new payment plan in XX/XX/XXXX with my first payment being due XX/XX/XXXX. I made a payment of {$100.00} in XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, I was unknowingly moved back into Forbearance with no communication from Mohela and again I am unable to make payments. I have called XXXX times to inquire about why my account has been moved back into this involuntary forbearance. The total hold time on the phone was XXXX HOURS. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke to a customer service agent who said my loans will be moved back into repayment within XXXX days and today on XXXX there is still a forbearance on my account. I believe because I am in the " Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program '' where if you work XXXX years ( XXXX months ) in the public service sector any remaining student loan balance is forgiven, that Mohela is actively obstructing my ability to make payments. Any months in forbearance do not count toward the program. This company Mohela is mismanaging my loans and I will seek legal recourse if it is not resolved in a timely manner.
