I normally pay my credit cards in full each month. For the billing period of XX/XX/25 through XX/XX/25, I paid {$2000.00} of the {$3600.00} balance so Citibank charged me interest for the entire balance. They again charged me interest the following month, billing period XX/XX/25 through XX/XX/25, even though I paid it in full. I called Citibank, they said that they will charge interest for two additional billing cycles following the month the account was not paid in full. When I look at their statement under how interest is calculated, I don't see anything that states this abuse. Is this legal? I asked the representative... he responded with " Yes it is. There's a difference between legal and ethical. '' I guess I'm dealing with an unethical company.
