I filed a dispute for fraudulent charges on my credit card through XXXX with Synchrony Bank. They supposedly investigated these fraudulent charges and denied they were fraud and held me responsible for paying the bill. After I paid the bill, the company reduced my credit limit from {$3500.00} to only {$100.00} in credit. They deny that the credit reduction is related to me reporting the fraudulent charges, but remarks were added to my credit report that said I disagree with a dispute. These remarks should not have been added to my credit report. Reducing my available credit limit from {$3500.00} to only {$100.00} dropped my consumer credit score by over XXXX points in one day. I have never missed a payment to Syncrony Bank, and they gave me regular & routine credit increases for 3 years. Only after reporting this fraud, they reduced my available credit from {$3500.00} to only {$100.00}. This is XXXX less than what I am used to spending monthly on the card. I have reached out to synchrony and they have kept me waiting on the phone for hours on end, and become very defensive and angry when I attempt to reconcile the issue. I have made 100 % on time payments for 3 years on this account. The sudden reduction from {$3500.00} to only {$100.00} in credit is disrespectful to a client who has always paid ontime and has excellent history of credit with the company
