On XX/XX/XXXX I call consumer portfolio to report that the car was in an accident and that it was at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. They stated that they would have someone from their Recovery team to pick the car up but in the process of picking the car up, they coded it as repossession When I called in as an accident claim so now theyre charging my credit account as a repossession and reported it to the credit bureau , which is destroying my credit. This should not have been so because I had XXXX insurance if they would not have sold my car as scraps I could have had a claim for XXXX XXXX can not do anything without a damage report we have no way of getting the damage report because consumer portfolio discarded the property so Im stuck because consume portfolio have not given me a damage report. My car was not repossessed. This is an error on consume.
