Rocket Mortgage provided documentation in response, but the documents do not align with my payment history or the terms that were verbally explained to me at the time. In XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was NEVER even late on any mortgage payments but Doctors informed me Id neeXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX In late XXXX I called Rocket ( then Quicken Loans ) to inquire about any possible hardship plans being available. I was instructed to miss one payment in order to trigger authorization to apply for the only Hardship plan they offered. I was very hesitant to do this ( owned 5 homes previously and NOT ONCE EVER missed a single mortgage payment ) so I very specifically asked if in any way would or could affect my credit rating - and was explicitly told no - it would have no bearing whatsoever on any credit report. My credit report even includes the comment loan modified under a federal government plan. Had I been told otherwise, I would never have entered into this agreement. Therefore, I reluctantly skipped XX/XX/XXXX payment as per their direction. I followed the instructions precisely and continued to make reduced good faith payments XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, I was told I had successfully met the qualifications and therefore the Modification loan processing would begin. I was also advised that no payment would be required until all details of the new loan were complete and finalized. Beginning XX/XX/XXXX, I made {$950.00} payments each month under the new modified terms. Despite this, Rocket later retroactively reported me as 150 to 180 days late delinquent from XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX- even though I made full payments during that time. They also later retroactively reported me 30 days late in XX/XX/XXXX even though no payment was missed during that time either. I have records showing I fully complied with their instructions and will attach payment records as evidence Rocket was paid as agreed upon in XX/XX/XXXX and the months of XXXX XXXX. This is not what my credit report reflects, and I have disputed this before. Rocket continues to defend their position by citing a contract I no longer have access to, and unable to verify whether it had been altered or misrepresented. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), information reported must be accurate and verifiable. This report is factually incorrect, misleading, damaging, and must be deleted.
