I've been harassed from IQ Data International since the beginning of the year, multiple phone calls from different numbers. Recently I received a notification from my bank ( XXXX XXXX ) that my credit score had dropped several points. I logged in and saw " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' as the interested party for {$350.00}. I had moved out of this apartment last year and paid all of my closing costs ( last utilities, closing costs, etc ). I reached out to XXXX XXXX to ask what they're saying I owe, only to find out the property was sold within weeks of me moving out to new management. The previous owners when I lived there were XXXX XXXX XXXX, and now they are XXXX owned. They said they have no records for the previous tenants and could not help me. I called IQ Data International using the phone number on their website on XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX. I gave them my name and said I was only calling to get a PO Box or mailing address to send a letter requesting verification of this " debt ''. The associate began to berate me saying they would destroy my credit, I'd never be able to purchase a house or rent again, and refused to give me a mailing address. I asked again for the address to which they replied " XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX '' ( a fake address ). I emailed XXXX XXXX XXXX who sent me a falsified bill that shows they took my entire deposit ( {$400.00} ), ignored my payment of utilities ( which I retain record and receipts of ), and charged the additional {$350.00} under " Miscellaneous Maintenance ''. They ended the email with XXXX XXXX leasing office information if I had " any further questions '' ( again, complex they no longer own ). I responded with a email saying I disagree with the falsified bill and will be pursuing legal representation if we can not come to an agreement. No response. My credit score continues to go down on XXXX XXXX and they're now claiming it is {$360.00} owed. It would appear XXXX XXXX XXXX and IQ Data International are partnering in illegal billing and billing collection, refusing to provide verification or communication and tanking someones credit who has never held debt.
