It came to my attention around XX/XX/year> that I was a victim of identity theft. My personal information was used to obtain fraudulent student loans. I have requested and my attorney has requested that my name be removed from these fraudulent loans. Mohela has refused to turn documentation over to my attorney, despite several attempts to do so both verbally from me and in writing from my attorney. I made it clear to Mohela that I do not want to talk to them, based upon the numerous predatory lending lawsuits against them. Mohela granted fraudulent loans and assigned me as cosigner although I never agreed to these loans verbally, via signature, or any other predatory lending practices they may have engaged in. I did not cosign any loans for these loans, yet Mohela has reported me to credit agencies for being deliquent on loans that do not belong to me. I have filed an identity theft report through the FTC. I have also started disputing these claims with credit agencies.
