A credit card " paypal '' was opened through Synchrony Bank about 3 years ago. The person had statements emailed to them. They maxed card out and paid the minimum for a period of time. Eventually they defaulted on the account. I was not aware of any of this until I went to get a car loan about a year ago. I worked with the bank and the credit collection agency but with no success.
