Have been receiving calls on my wife 's phone, but about me. They said that they are a collection company regarding a debt from 2012. If I did have it, it was settled back then. I am not certain that I even had it! The caller said that I needed to provide proof of payment or discharge. That was 13 years ago!! I have not heard about it at all before. They bought it from another collection agency. Isn't there some kind of limit on time-frame. As I go to thinking, it seems quite likely that it was a scam.
