Consumer Narrative
XX/XX/year> I lost my wallet and contacted Bank of America to cancel my debit card and resend another one. After not receiving my debit card 30 days later Bank of America tells me over the phone that my account is under investigation due to fraudulent activity and too many lost cards. Bank of America told me that I could not have access to my account until the investigation was complete. I have been calling every week and the hold time is 1 hour or more. There is no local Bank of America nor a department to escalate my situation at BOA. I called back again last week and the company states my account is still being investigated for fraudulent activity and this has been going on since XX/XX/year>.
