Consumer Narrative
On my XX/XX/XXXX, the remaining balance on my Synchrony/CareCredit statement credit card went up from {$1400.00} to {$4400.00} ( Interest charge {$3100.00} ). I did not notice until later, XX/XX/XXXX. When I called to inquire, I was told I was on an introductory offer, and should have gotten an email informing me, but I do not recall receiving an email. I closed the credit card, but feel I have unfairly been charged such a high amount of interest. Ive had the account since, I believe, XX/XX/XXXX if not later. I am retired and this would be a hardship with my retirement fixed pension. The card was open for XXXX work for my son and me.
