I have a " spending '' account and an investing account with Robinhood. I have used them on and off for the last 7 or 8 years for investing and about 1 year for spending. I recently had 2 issues in my spending account that required disputes I will go into detail for both instances 1. I am traveling internationally and purchased and XXXX for an extended stay. The airbnb was not as described, had major safety concerns ( like a window that was broken and would not secure that leads into the master bedroom that has all my expensive belongs. the host rented 5 other rooms to strangers that i was unaware of and never mentioned to me ) after a lot of back and forth with the airbnb support, they agreed multiple times to refund me the amount. after reserving another accomodation, airbnb did not follow through with what was promised and i disputed the transaction. providing proof, photos and explaining the situation. the dispute is still active and being investigated. this took place roughly around XXXX XXXX 2025 2. I purchased practice accounts for futures investing. these practice accounts are tests, that once passed, grant you access to a real account to allow you to earn money from your investments. A co-owner has recently been exposed of manipulating the rules and circumstances to prevent people who have purchased these test accounts from passing and/or getting paid. i am a victim of this and i ATTEMPTED to dispute the transactions with this seller. it was afte ri attempted to disupute the most recent transactions ( # 2 ) that Robinhood put a restriction on my account. I can not access my investing account NOR my spending account. both which contain 99 % of my money. I am still traveling internationally and SEVERELY need access to my funds. Initially, i was given an email response to the disputes of # 2 saying they cant dispute the claims if someone else had access to my account. which IS NOT THE CASE and i explained that initially AND as a reply from the email. My account had not yet been restricted when i received that email. After seeing the restriction i replied to the email again and tried contacting the Robinhood support MULTIPLE times with no success.
