Bank of America makes setting up AutoPay unnecessarily cumbersome and confusing. I have now made XXXX separate calls to their customer service line and they still have not succeeded in setting up my eBills such that I can set up automatic monthly statement balance payments for my credit card. My other cards and accounts make this process easy and intuitive. I have been charged multiple late payments by BoA because of not having autopay set up and missing a payment due date by a day or two. I am a responsible financial person and this is an egregious and predatory abuse by BoA to try and glean late fees from normal people instead of making the likely very easy and straightforward changes necessary to make AutoPay a much easier function to set up.
