To whom it may concern at XXXX XXXX XXXX MACYS/CITIBANK, N.A . and BESTBUY/CBNA Congress says `` accept as in provided in paragraph 3 the term consumer report does not include reports containing information solely as the " transactions or experiences '' between the consumer and the person making the report '' Payment History would qualify as a " transaction or experience '' Therefore reporting this derogatory information on my consumer report is in direct violation of laws set for by Congress. I received a copy of my credit report and have found the following items to be in error by the provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act I respectfully demand these items to be investigated and updated on my credit report it is my understand and belief that you will recheck these items with the " creditor/agency/corporation '' who posted them Pursuant 12 CFR Part 1006 - Fair Debt Collection Practices Act According to Federal Law reporting late payments is ILLEGAL 15 USC 1681 ( d ) ( 1 ) ( 2 ) ( a ) ( i ) ( b ) if they are unable to provide proof or Lacking proof of these payments being late please update my payment history to ( PAANL ) status ( Paid As Agreed Never Late ) according to consumer protection laws. Please update any information that the " creditor/agency/corporation '' can not verify it is to my knowledge that under 15 U.S.C. Section 1681i ( a ) that withing ( 30 ) days you must complete this re-investigation of the receipt of this notice Please send me an update copy of my credit report to the above address Thank you for your time and help in this matter.
