Consumer Narrative
I believe I am a target of insider fraud. I was renting a vehicle from a local company who charged my account late in order to prevent me from being able to pay the following week on time, which caused me to lose days of work as this is a rental vehicle, which in turn prevented me from paying the following week, which caused me to owe late fees and they then took my vehicle. I know this was done deliberately because they are lying saying they never said what they said and that they didn't charge me because I didn't have money, but I did. I have had ongoing issues with multiple things regarding my finances since someone stole money from me in XXXX which has never been resolved. I have lost my home and everything I do to get back up has been sabotaged in some similar way, in that an employee does something wrong that causes these problems. I am feeling targeted by my community and I want this investigated. I have had my bank account for approximately 7 years, I have NEVER had an overdraft approved not once and they put my account on hold for funds as low as XXXX if they consider it suspicious when it is recurring membership payments for apps. When I called to ask why they paid over XXXX for this vendor but not for the prior amounts they have charged they first claimed it was a return check, I said the person on ap said it was paid and it's been on my account for over two weeks, then she transferred me to fraud department at my insistence. Then the women in fraud department claimed they paid this vendor at their discretion. What would cause MY bank to pay SOMEONE that kind of money without asking me about it. No I feel that this kind of thing added with the fact that the rental company is lying and the other things I've gone through is something else all together ... .no one is that unlucky to have people making these kinds of mistakes repeatedly with my things and it's not deliberate. I guarantee that in your investigation you will find that the person who processed this transaction was done locally and they know the people at XXXX who caused the issue to occur in the first place in some way. This transaction should have been declined I should not have to lose an account that I have had for almost 7 years because of a transaction that was caused by childish behavior in the first place. This is a serious concern and my whole life has been disrupted from this type of thing for years now but this time I'm not stopping until this is resolved properly in my favor. I am a customer of this bank and this is the second time that I know of that they have done something that has impeded my life in a severe way. This is a way to force me to have to pay a vendor who strong armed late fees out of me in the first place.
