I applied for a Freedom credit card and received it XX/XX/year>, it offered 0 % intro APR for the first 15 month of the balance transfer. That is the statement on the Card Member Agreement. It does not include or exclude any credit card. When I tried to do the balance transfer I was told I was unable to transfer a balance from a XX/XX/XXXXChase Credit Card to a Freedom Chase credit card due to both being Chase. I applied for this card due to the rental car agreement it provides, it makes no difference to me who the bank behind the credit card is. It should be stated very clearly if there are restrictions on credit cards that are not applicable to this offer. This is an inconvenience and causes stress for my plans.
