Consumer Narrative

My bank contacted me about my complaint. The person I spoke to with the bank said there was nothing they could do since I was the victim of a scam, and not a victim of fraud. Isn't a scam a fraud? I was told by the bank representative There was " no money '' in the XXXX bank account, and that I had sent XXXX XXXX the money by wire transfer, and that they didn't steal it but they stole our item by not sending it to us and said there was no fraud. Of all the fraud we have encountered with the banks were more than willing to do a reversal. We also thought they could do a reversal if something went wrong and the bank never make it known that you a can't always get your money back. This is outrageous. We made a purchase from the company and wired money according to their invoice with insurance and they said they wanted more money, over half of what they quoted us, isn't this a scam and deserve a reversal or is this an employee making the call.
