I applied for a balance transfer card with Citi on XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. I was approved, got email verifications and got my card. XXXX XXXX XXXX I got a letter in the mail from XXXX XXXX with a brand new card asking me to activate now so I may use my card. I DID NOT activate that card. Instead I called XXXX XXXX to dispute and inform them that I did not apply for this card. They Said the investigation could take up to 60-90 and that in the meantime I was to fax them my social and drivers license, I told them I was not going to do that at all. They then gave me a case # XXXX. I asked for them to send me email verifications and I still have yet to see any of that. I also never received any emails about this account prior. Then the following day I received another piece of mail from XXXX XXXX XXXX saying that they had denied by credit card account application due to to many inquiries. I connected XXXX and disputed only the XXXX XXXX, and then dispute the XXXX XXXX with XXXX. Last night I received an email from my bank informing me that my credit score had dropped XXXX points! I looked into my that and saw two most credit cards. I have not seen anything in the mail for those at this time. Here are all the cards that I did NOT apply for. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX As of this moment none of them are showing a balance.
