According to my XXXX credit report there is an account MOHELA/DOFED in the amount of {$75000.00}, in my name. Although it is in good standing it is not my account. Payments have been made but I have not made those payments. The MOHELA accounts were also on my XXXX and XXXX reports but were disputed and are now shown as closed. I need this removed because it is affecting my income-to-debt ratio for purchasing a home. I had student loans with XXXX but they are shown as closed on all my credit reports due to including them in a bankruptcy approximately 5 years ago. I have never had an account with MOHELA and whomever is making these payments is not getting credit towards their credit score. I have filed two disputes with XXXX. The first had no results and was closed. The second is still open but this MOHELA account needs to be addressed. Since it is not mine, I have no supporting documentation to prove it is not mine and I can't get a MOHELA representative on the phone to discuss the issue. I have tried contacting MOHELA directly by phone - but the wait to speak to a representative is usually XXXX hours. I have sent them a letter of my complaint on XX/XX/year> and of course have yet to hear from them because it has only been a week. I called XXXX today and they suggested I file a complaint with your agency in an effort to get MOHELA to respond to their investigation. Please call me at XXXX if you need further information.
