First Citizens Bank Branches contacted are located in XXXX, XXXX and XXXX in North Carolina. Many dates going back years across multiple accounts and are not all easily accessible to me due to the way the app functions ( or lack thereof ) in addition to some of the info being available only to staff and not account holders. Attached screenshots for some of the more obvious charges I could find. Fraudulent overdraft fees keep getting charged to my accounts despite no actual negative balance occuring or in several instances the overdraft causes itself ( {$9.00} balance -> {$10.00} overdraft -> XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) The bank is completely aware and refuses to fix the issue or return the stolen funds claiming their records are different than what they provide me and what is shown on my bank provided statements therefore it's somehow my fault. The random overdraft charges have lowered my balance to the point of causing actual negative balances resulting in more overdraft charges. For example : one fake overdraft removing {$10.00} might cause me to unknowingly go a few dollars negative resulting in one or more drafts due to small transactions that wouldn't have been negative without the initial fake draft. This can add up really fast and has resulted in probably hundreds in losses over time. Attempts to resolve were made in person and over the phone numerous times with either no action taken or a single " courtesy refund '' that's available once per year being given as a way to pretend they are being generous instead of admitting to the fraud.
