I am filing this complaint against the Credit Bureaus for reporting willfully false information FCRA 616 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681n ). They reported JPMCB account XXXX as a Charge off with a balance of {$450.00}. I have never received a 1099C for this debt. They did not provide a 1099C to accurately reflect this as a charge-off for tax purposes. I know that Under 15 U.S Code 1681i Treatment of Inaccurate or unverifiable information ( A ) In general, after any investigation under paragraph ( 1 ) of any information disputed by a consumer, an item of the information is found to be inaccurate or incomplete or can not be verified, the consumer reporting agency shall ( i ) -- promptly delete that item of information from the file of the consumer or modify the item of information as appropriate based on the results of the investigation
