This issue is with Chase Credit Card and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX offers XXXX XXXX benefit to customers earning XXXX points within a calendar year including credit card referral bonus points. Towards the end of XXXX I was up to over XXXX XXXX qualifying points. I referred a credit card that was applied for and approved on XX/XX/XXXX around XXXX. Chase terms state can take up to 8 weeks to receive the XXXX bonus points. Normally I have received referral bonuses on the following month. I called Chase on XX/XX/XXXX and they said wait the full 8 weeks. I called back on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX and they said message them. I messaged them on XX/XX/XXXX and then called again on XX/XX/XXXX. Finally they said they found the referral and sent the points XX/XX/XXXX. I then called XXXX and explained I had completed the steps on my end but there was an issue with Chase that prevented these points from applying within the year. XXXX stated someone will call me back. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from XXXX stating I did not complete the requirements in time. I called XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and they requested I submit a complaint on their website. I submitted a complaint on their website and am finally submitting a complaint to CFPB as this is still not getting resolved. I have completed all advertised requirements to earn XXXX XXXX as advertised by XXXX and Chase, and due to an issue with Chase they are not awarding me the benefit they advertise. I find it suspicious that the referral towards the end of the year that would earn XXXX XXXXXXXX goes missing until 9 days after the deadline and then they find it and now say oops you didn't earn XXXX. Also worth noting, on XX/XX/XXXX, I went on a trip with my son that cost XXXX points for my sons ticket which should have not as he should have been my XXXX.
