I have made dozens and dozens of calls to both Citibank andXX/XX/XXXXto try to get this resolved. I am owed {$730.00} by Citibank for a plane ticket I purchased on my XX/XX/XXXX Citibank credit card. AA inadvertently cancelled this ticket on XX/XX/year> for suspected fraud. My {$730.00} charge was credited back to me as a result. I then called Citibank and asked them to send the payment of {$730.00} thru a second time for the ticket since there was no fraud and I had made this purchase. I paid a {$730.00} payment to Citibank for this plane ticket in XXXX, 2024. Sometime in XXXXXX/XX/XXXX had cancelled my ticket due to the suspected fraud and never received the second payment of {$730.00} from Citibank. I have no idea where this money went. The plane ticket attached to the {$730.00} payment was null and void by XX/XX/XXXX in XXXX, 2024 and these services were not rendered. XX/XX/XXXX did not advise me of the cancellation and I didn't learn that my ticket had been voided until XX/XX/XXXX, when I attempted to check-in for my trip to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX has denied my claim ( see letter attached ) because they did not receive my {$730.00} payment. Citibank denied my claim in XXXX 2024, stating that I had been credited the {$730.00}. But this was incorrect. You only need look at my XXXX statement ( attached ) to see that I was charged {$730.00} TWO times. One charge was credited back but the second charge of {$730.00} was NOT. I have been trying since XXXX to get my appeal reopened to resolve this. I have attached voluminous records to this complaint. I'm tired. I need the {$730.00} refund. Not only have I been out this money since XXXX, 2024, my vacation to see a dear friend in XXXX was cancelled. My ticket was VOID and UNUSED. Please help me. I call Citibank ever 2-3 weeks ( since XX/XX/XXXX ) and each time am assured that this matter will be resolved. It's not rocket science. I just need someone to take 60 seconds to see that I was charged a 2nd time for {$730.00} for a void ticket. Please someone help.
