IQ Data XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Past Due balance {$3000.00} This collection was placed on both my credit and my daughters for an apartment my daughter was renting at XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX FL in which her and my XXXX had to relocate from after being exposed to mildew and other unhealthy bacteria found in the department. The incident was reported to the Department of Health and the management office who agreed that my daughter could move out of the apartment without any penalties. My daughter and I have tried on several occasions to dispute this charge from our credit reports and recently reached out to the debt agency to see what other options we have to satisfy this debt since the dispute we filed did not rectify the problem. When I spoke with the representative, she advised that the dispute was received but wouldn't stop the calls until the debt has been collected and/or a settlement payment is received. I inquired about a " paid to deletion '', and she advised that could be done once account is paid in full. I told her I would talk to my daughter and follow-up with her. I received a follow-up call on XX/XX/XXXX from the same representative asking if my daughter and I had come up with a resolution to handle the debt, I advised that my daughter and I decided to wait until we both revieved our taxes and would pay what is owed, the rep asked if there was anything payment I could handle today and I told her no, the rep became very hostile and proceeded to say " YOU ARE LYING AND CHOSING NOT TO COMPLY SO I AM GOING TO MAKE SURE THIS OFFICE DOESNT COOPERATE WITH YOU WHEN ITS TIME TO PAY YOUR DEBT AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO A SETTLEMENT ONLY PAID IN FULL, HAVE A NICE DAY. '' and hung up the phone before I could reply.
