Late XX/XX/XXXX I recieved a letter stating i must appear in court on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX being sued by Rubin and Rothman for a XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card debt of XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX I recieved court papers to respond to and I did that by denying the debt and requesting proof of debt and ownership etc. I received NOTHING from them until XX/XX/XXXX which was a mailed court appeared letter. I appeared there today on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX and was informed that the date was changed to XX/XX/XXXX XXXX and a default judgement was made against me. I did not receive any notice of this change in court date. I feel this is a tactic to win by default. This company asked for a sooner court date and never notifed me so i could appear. I appeared in court and it is truly unfair that this can happen.
