I have spent the last 3 months trying to get in contact with MOHELA customer service but have gotten nowhere. Every time I call, no matter what time of day, I am told to wait for a basic representative which usually takes 1-2 hours. Then if I am able to get in contact with one, I tell them what I need and they say they have to transfer me to an " advanced customer service representative '' as they are not able to do anything themselves. Then I am on hold for another couple of hours. I have yet to speak to an " advanced customer service representative '' because the hold times are so long that I either have to hang up or they close and never get back to me. This has happened every single time I have called. Now I have overdue payments. I am actively trying to do something about them, but it is made impossible when there is no way to get in contact with a person who can actually do something about it. No adult has the time to sit on the phone for 5 hours everyday until their loans are figured out.
