After experiencing extreme XXXX pain, my insurance company, XXXX, recommended The XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). On XX/XX/year> I went to dentist. After receiving my consultation, the dentist determined I needed XXXX XXXX XXXX. The dentist recommended additional XXXX XXXX, which I advised I would return at a later date to discuss. The dentist suggested I apply for a care credit card to cover the extra cost as insurance may not cover it. I did agree to apply for the credit card. The following month, I received a credit card charge of over {$6500.00}. Confused by the amount of the bill I contacted the dental office, the dentist advised me that I'was being charged for the anticipated treatment I needed, and I could return at any time to finish the service. I disputed the billing with the credit card company several times, as I don't believe I should pay for anticipated treatment. The credit card company ( Care Credit ) refunded {$4000.00} and left a balance of {$2400.00} that I am disputing. After research, I discovered the dental office billed both XXXX and the care credit card amost {$8000.00}. I only received a XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have contacted the dental office several times to obtain a detailed invoice of the charges billed and the service I received. These requests have been ignored. I have disputed the charges with the credit card company several times, and each time, my dispute was denied. Now, this is my final attempt at receiving some assistance with this matter. I am XXXX XXXX XXXX and retired, and on Medicare, I can not afford an {$8000.00} bill for treatment I never received. Also, with several disputes made to the credit card company, they said they sent out a resolution letter from mail but I have never received any. Please help!
