When initially opening account, Chase ( consumer bank ) held my direct deposit personal paycheck for several days. This caused a delinquency in bill payment. Today, XX/XX/year> they are also putting a personal transfer from my own savings account into my Chase checking account on hold. This will make delinquent and delay a mortgage payment. Despite spending an hour on the phone with their customer reps in each case, weve not been able to remedy this or the associated fees caused by their arbitrary holds. Neither transfer was near or in excess of the {$10000.00} limit. In the first instance, we were told this is a one time occurrence to ensure proper delivery of future payments given that we had recently opened an account.
