On XX/XX/2024 a fraudulent check was cashed on my business bank account checking account at Chase Bank. My spouse saw this fraudulent check go through and notified them on XX/XX/2024. I filled out and submitted their " Unauthorized signature or forged item declaration '' paperwork, took it into the branch on XX/XX/2024to the chase branch at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They said we needed to file a police report, which we did on XX/XX/2024 and got the report XX/XX/2024, took it to the branch on XX/XX/2024. Chase said they couldn't help us without a police report. As of XX/XX/2024, I've now been given the run around by Chase Fraud department on 3-4 different occasions. They tell us they have everything XX/XX/2024 at the branch when XXXX XXXX from the Chase branch called in. At that time I was told it would take 3-5 business days to resolve. We spoke to the fraud department on XX/XX/2024, they said it would be resolved XX/XX/2024. Today I called and the fraud department is now claiming they can't do anything because they still have not received the police report. We are still out {$7200.00} because Chase cashed a check against our account that was fraudulent and is refusing to do anything to help us get the funds back. I'm tired of hearing one excuse after another.
