I was emailed to see if I wanted to do a painting project and we accepted it. The scammer sent us a check for XXXX and we were told by the bank customer service rep that the check had cleared the scammer wanted us to cash a check and then send the money out to pay for vendors for paint and materials. The check was fraudulent and the money was already sent to the scammer of {$3900.00} and the check Was sent back as fraudulent and Im out the {$3900.00}. Im trying to receive my money back because I had no idea that this person was a scammer and took all my money. Please help Im devastated that my money was stolen from a scammer, and the bank is not giving my money back. Please help. XXXX XXXX XXXX oh my God
