Consumer Narrative
When recently checking my credit report, I noticed a hard inquiry by US BANK on my account. I have not authorized a hard inquiry nor have sought services recently by US BANK. The hard inquiry was posted in XX/XX/scrub>XXXX XXXX US BANK sent me a letter in the mail stating that they were not able to open an account because my identity was not authorized. I'm glad an account was not able to be opened, but I would like it to also be removed from my credit report.
