I was divorced in XXXX. My ex husband had opened a citibank credit card in my name while we were married. He continued to verbally be responsible for the credit card and listed the credit card in the Marital settlement agreement. He changed the credit card number several times, but put an autopay on the checking account while we were married. After the divorce, Citibank turned me over to a collections agency. After submitting the info, I was directed to another collections agency in XXXX. My bank caught the rolling amounts being deducted and sent to a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. My checking account was frozen and it wreaked havoc on my rent/utilities and other bills in autopay. I would like to be free of this debt, as I paid over 4 times the amount to Citibank.
