Consumer Narrative

On XX/XX/year> - The amount of {$1800.00} was deducted from my personal checking account at US bank for a credit card debt that does not belong to me. US bank openly admitted that they are unsure on how this happened because the debt collected was for my deceased father who passed away this year in XXXX. US bank said that their collections department authorized the collection for the debt and can not reject the payment because it is out of their control. The debt owed is my deceased father 's business credit card for XXXX XXXX XXXX under his name XXXX XXXX. He is the only person tied to this debt, not me. I am not an authorized user and never have been authorized to use his account. Therefore, no money should have been deducted from my personal checking account on behalf of my dad.
