I am being charged on a " XXXX '' credit card account which i never requested, opened or authorized. I had an " XXXX '' credit card and was informed the account would be switched to a " XXXX '' credit card, which would be sent to me for activation. I did not activate this " XXXX '' credit card. About month after the " XXXX '' switch, I received a debt collection call. I informed the collection agent that i never activated the " XXXX '' card, and i asked how could i possibly have a balance. The agent did not address the issue, and did not disclose a specific collection amount, repeatedly saying that i had an " outstanding '' balance. I thought the call a scam, and ignored the issue. Since then, i've received repeated collection calls, in which i have refused to send any money.
