On XX/XX/XXXX, the automobile was stolen from my residence, and a XXXX Police Department auto theft report was made. Officers were dispatched to my residence, and a XXXX Police Report was filed. While Bank of America was supposedly investigating the matter, the same automobile was sold to another individual who retained an attorney and obtained a standing judgment for {$48000.00} from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX. Despite the stolen vehicle and the standing judgment, Bank of America claimed they could not recover the funds from the {$10000.00} cashier 's check to XXXX XXXX. This contradicts their ability to reverse the cashiers check from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Bank of America also falsely claimed they did not have a police report, despite having received the same police report I uploaded in the initial complaint form. Issues : Delayed Availability of Funds : The delay in clearing a cashiers check, which represents guaranteed funds, was unreasonable and caused significant financial hardship. Improper Handling of Canceled Transaction : Despite canceling the transaction, Bank of America requested the return of the check, causing undue financial liability.
